Leodegario Polo

“That’s hard to survive, you know, because one thing with the Filipinos, when they have money, they go to the cash-and-carry. (Laughs.) When they have no more money, they go to our store for credit. That’s the difference, you see. But, that’s why very hard to survive, you see. And then beside that, with Filipinos, you know, when the parent got store, the children, very hard. They will not wish to take over.” —Leodegario Polo
